What is NWEC?

NWEC is an acronym for National Women's Education Center, which offers programs centered on practical training and research on women and family.

Where is NWEC?

The NWEC is located in Saitama Prefecture and can be reached by a 60-minute train ride on Tobu Tojo Line from Ikebukuro Station in Tokyo, and a 15-minute walk from Musashi Ranzan Station. The center is in a quiet green hilly area on a river, where you can enjoy a distant view of the beautiful chain of Chichibu mountains.

What can I do there?

Rooms are available for study and training. You can also use a gymnasium, tennis courts, a swimming pool, a tea ceremony house, a music room and a cooking/dining room for exchang and practice.
Besides, the Women's Education Information Center provides you with both domestic and foreign materials on women and the family.
